PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device preventing inclination of an operation lever at tilt/telescopic fastening release by a compact space and enhancing operation feeling of the operation lever and a commodity value. SOLUTION: When an operator turns the operation lever 16 in a relaxing direction, crest and trough of a fixing cam 18 and a movable cam 17 are engaged to optionally perform adjustment in a tilt direction and in a telescopic direction. At this time, even if force for inclining the operation lever 16 and the movable cam 17 is applied, since axial fitting length relative to a fastening rod 13 becomes long, the operation lever 16 is hardly inclined. Further, even if the fixing cam 18 is inclined and leaned to the movable cam 17, since axial fitting length relative to the operation lever 16 and the fastening rod 13 of the movable cam 17 becomes long, the operation lever 16 and the movable cam 17 are hardly inclined and operation feeling of the operation lever 16 is enhanced.
