PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of exact light-receiving along with excelling in the reliability of hermetic sealing by acquiring preferably the parallelism of a lid object to an insulated base; preventing adhesion of the foreign substance within a process as much as possible even in the case of comprising, for example, an optical semiconductor device; and preventing a defect and a crack from being generated in a transparent lid object in the case of making a transparent lid object. SOLUTION: A electronic device 9 comprises an insulated base 1 wherein a chamfer 1b is formed between the upper surface and the internal side surface of a recess 1a, having the recess 1a for accommodating an electronic-component element 3 on the upper surface; a lid object 5 attached to the insulated base 1 so as to close the recess, having a support by which field contact is carried out by the undersurface side periphery to the chamfer 1b; and an adhesion material 7 for pasting up an upper surface side periphery 5a of the lid object 5 and the upper surface 1d of the insulated base 1.
