PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk apparatus in which the surface deformation of a top cover is suppressed. SOLUTION: The disk apparatus is provided with a head assembly 12, a base 14 housing a circuit 13 and a recording medium 11, and a top cover 15 supported at a plurality of inside supporting points near a position at which the head assembly 12 and the circuit part 13 are housed and peripheral supporting points of a peripheral part and covering a housing part of the base 14, and also the apparatus is provided with a vibration suppressing member 16 suppressing the vibration of the top cover 15 at a corresponding position corresponding to the vicinity of the abdomen of the vibration of the surface of the top cover 15 of a polygon in the polygon making positions of peripheral supporting points of the vicinity of the position at which the head assembly 12 and the circuit part 13 are housed as a vertex.
