PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for placing works directly on a pallet, and to provide its device. SOLUTION: The method for placing on the pallet P the works W stacked on a framed skid comprises a step of placing the pallet P on a pallet supporting frame body 7 which can supports the pallet P, a step of placing on the pallet P the skid on which the works are stacked, a step of lifting the works W on the skid using a plurality of front, rear, right and left work lifting parts 17 which are provided for a work lifting device 13 arranged on the lower side of the pallet supporting frame body 7 and which are movable up and down relative to the pallet supporting frame body 7, a step of removing the slid from the pallet P when the works W are being lifted up by the plurality of work lifting parts 17, and a step of moving down the work lifting parts 17 relative to the pallet P and placing the works W directly on the pallet P.
