PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label sticking apparatus capable of maintaining a tension on a strip mount being turned at the tip part of a releasing plate even when a nip roller is arranged at a position separated from the tip part of the releasing plate, and releasing a label with a thin thickness and a low rigidity, so-called a weak waist. SOLUTION: By providing an upper pressing roller 25 which presses a label continuous body transferred on the releasing plate 13 against the releasing plate 13, and a lower pressing roller 26 which presses the strip mount turned at the tip part of the releasing plate 13 against the releasing plate 13 so that they can approach and are separable, even when the nip roller is arranged at the position separated from the tip part of the releasing plate 13, the label continuous body and the strip mount are respectively pinched between the releasing plates 13 at a position close to the tip part of the releasing plate 13 by the upper pressing roller 25 and the lower pressing roller 26.
