When driving alone the passenger seat (1) is frequently used for storing some objects. A belt (4) provided with a row of holes (6) can be guided vertically across the backrest (2) and used for joining holding elements (5) for fastening different objects. A bag or case (7a) can be held by a hook, a glass or bottle in an appropriately shaped container (7b), also attached to the belt (4). The belt (4) can be permanently joined to the top of the backrest (2), moved to the front (8a) or the rear and secured at the lower end with Velcro(RTM) or any other suitable fastening unit.
