<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine and an article for the games which enable the maintenance of the interests of the players without replacing the article for the games. <P>SOLUTION: In the game machine 10, when the emission mode of an LED 21 is changed based on the figure ID stored in an IC chip 34 of a figure 30, the light emitted from an emission part 32b of the figure 30 varies, thereby making the appearance of the figure look different.
