PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring allowing a tool for cutting a tip thereof to be properly arranged even when extension of a connection part is relatively short and capable of improving workability when one-side connection part is inserted into and mounted to a connecting hole formed in an actuation part of an electric switch. SOLUTION: This spring 1 is provided with: a wound part 2 formed by winding a linear material multiple times in a predetermined diameter; and the one-side connection part 3 and the other-side connection part 4 formed by folding back both ends of the wound part 2 while extending them; and is attached to the connecting hole Sb formed in the actuation part Sa of a brake lamp switch S by inserting the connection part 3 therein. The one-side connection part 3 is formed such that it is folded back to a side face of the wound part 2 and its tip 3bb reaches the outer side as compared with the outside diameter of the wound part 2.
