PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid body of a compact container and other coated container body which is obtained by decorating the peripheral surface of the side peripheral wall of a with a color and a multi-color pattern being different from the upper and lower surfaces, or the top surface of the container by a spray-coating alone without using a mask member, and to provide a coating method for the same. SOLUTION: This container body comprises the surface wall, and the side peripheral wall which is extended from the peripheral edge of the surface wall in a direction which crosses the wall surface.
