PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag holding/transferring device for a bagging machine, which favorably supplies an article into a bag. SOLUTION: In the bag holding/transferring device, a transfer conveyor 18 is arranged below a magazine 14 in which bags 12 are stacked with back seal parts 12c directed downward. The transfer conveyor 18 is provided with a plurality of cramping means 22 spaced in a traveling direction of the conveyor 18. Each cramping means 22 has a fixed cramping member 24 fixed to a carrier 23, and a movable cramping member 26 pivoted turnably on the carrier 23. Below the magazine 14, a suction means 46 is arranged to be capable of moving up and down. The suction means 46 sucks the back seal part 12c of a bag 12 at the bottom of the magazine 14, and then moves down to deliver the bag 12 sucked/held by the suction means 46 to the transfer conveyor 18. When the bag 12 is delivered to the transfer conveyor 18, the cramping means 22 cramps the back seal part 12c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
