The control of the multiple actuations of such as an automation machine or industrial robot uses an electronic version of a cam timer sequence controller. The machine has multiple cam tracks (1,2) that are related to a reference (5) on the main axis position (35) of a machine. The length of the cams (9) are programmed into the system.
