<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting display device capable of displaying uniform images, and to provide its drive method. <P>SOLUTION: The drive method of the light-emitting display device includes a step of dividing one frame to one or more pieces of subframes 1SF to 4SF, and a step of successively supplying scanning signals to a part of the scanning lines among a plurality of the scanning lines included in an image display element, in which the scanning lines supplied with a signal signal for each subframe period are set so as to differ from each other.
