<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow access to a new memory card when the new memory card is loaded after removal of a memory card. <P>SOLUTION: When a memory card is loaded to a memory card reader/writer connected to an image file device, its loading is detected (step 31), and mounting processing is carried out (step 32). It is determined whether the memory card is removed from the memory card reader/writer in every 3 seconds (step 25). When the memory card is removed (YES in step 35), unmounting processing of the removed memory card is carried out (step 36). If a new memory card is loaded to the memory card reader/writer, mounting processing of the new memory card is carried out (step 31).
