DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM, DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND DATA TRANSMISSION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing system wherein a data transmission apparatus can make communication with a data processing apparatus by way of light such as infrared ray, the data transmission apparatus transmits authentication information to the data processing apparatus consecutively for a plurality of number of times, and the data processing apparatus can carry out authentication processing when receiving the authentication information without an error.

SOLUTION: The data transmission apparatus 11 includes: a means capable of making communication with the data processing apparatus 1 by way of light such as infrared ray to read authentication information (living body information) of a user; and a means for consecutively transmitting the read authentication information for a plurality of number of times. The data processing apparatus 1 includes: an HD 7 for storing the authentication information of a user in advance as registered authentication information and for storing the data while corresponding to the resistered authentication information; a communication I/F 9 for sequentially receiving the read authentication information from the data transmission apparatus 11; an apparatus control section 3 for authenticating the user on the basis of the read authentication information and the registered authentication information when receiving the read authentication information without an error; and an image forming section 6 for processing data corresponding to the registered authentication information in response to a result of the authentication.
