<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can surely prevent a connector, cable and so forth from colliding, and can easily remove jammed papers. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device is used for recording images on a sheet of paper, and includes a main body 1 having an image forming mechanism, an openable cover 3 which is provided at the upper section of the main body, a region for connecting a printer cable 9 which is provided on the back surface side of the main body, and a paper feeding tray 2. In this case, the paper feeding tray 2 is provided at the upper section of the main body, extends diagonally upward to the rear side of the main body to a position where the rear end is overlapped with the region for connecting the printer cable 9 when seen on a plan view, and is used for loading sheets of paper which are supplied to the main body.
