PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can switch a 1st imaging position and a 2nd imaging position and which is capable of fc adjustment. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 10 is provided with a prism unit 30 having two or more reflection surfaces of a free curved surface shape, an imaging element, a guiding mechanism 79 and a driving mechanism 100 functioning as a switching means. The guiding mechanism 79 movably guides the prism unit 30 in a X direction perpendicularly intersecting a light receiving surface of the imaging element. The driving mechanism 100 has a moving member 80 which can move in a Y direction being in parallel to the light receiving surface of the imaging element and a cam member 90 provided at the moving member 80 and selectively positions and holds the prism unit 30 at a 1st position suitable for imaging within a 1st distance range and a 2nd position suitable for imaging within a 2nd distance range. The cam member 90 can move in the Y direction being in parallel to the light receiving surface of the imaging element toward the moving member 80 and can change a position of the cam member 90 at the time of performing fc adjustment.
