PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cache controller capable of improving response at the time of reference. SOLUTION: The cache controller includes; a cache storage part 231 wherein cache data, identifiers, reference dates are correlated with one another and stored; a cache management information storage part 241 wherein management information of cache data is divided into groups by preliminarily determined date ranges and is stored in the order of deletion priorities; a deletion determination part 224 which defines data having the highest deletion priority in the oldest group as a deletion candidate when deleting cache data and acquires the reference date of cache data being the deletion candidate, from the cache storage part 231 and determines non-deletion of cache data being the deletion candidate in the case that the acquired reference date is not included in the date range of the oldest group; and a management information moving part 222 which moves management information of the deletion candidate to a group having a date range including the acquired reference date when non-deletion of cache data being the deletion candidate is determined.
