PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification device for suppressing notification according to circumstances at a notification reception side. SOLUTION: A notification definition information storing part 12 stores notification definition information including a notification standby permission time. A notification destination status information storing part 13 stores notification destination status information including a maintenance start scheduled date. When any notification event is generated, a notification control part 11 compares a notification period obtained by adding the notification permission time to the generation time of the notification event with the maintenance start scheduled date, and when the maintenance start scheduled date is prior to the notification period, the notification control part 11 suppresses the notification of the notification event.
