PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label for food management that enables a consumer to easily and reliably manage a consumption term without transcribing by himself/herself the expiration date of foods which the consumer bought. SOLUTION: The label is a two-layer label comprising a label 2 for a refrigerator side to be stuck for updating to the door or side face of a refrigerator 12, and a label 2 for food side to be stuck to the package or container 11 of the food. Each surface of the labels 2, 3 displays at least the food name and its expiration date. In storing the food in a refrigerator, only the upper label 2 is released and stuck for updating to the door of the refrigerator 12 so that the stored product and its expiration date can be checked without opening the door.
