PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank system capable of effectively stopping fuel oil supply at the time of substantially filling up without depending on visual confirmation by an oil supplying person. SOLUTION: This fuel tank system for supplying fuel from an oil feeder 16 to an on-vehicle fuel tank 2 through an oil filler port 3 comprises an oil filler port sensor 6 for detecting the opening and closing state of the oil filler port 3, a fuel sensor 7 for detecting a fuel quantity in the on-vehicle fuel tank 2; and a reporting means 10 which is operated when the open state of the filler port 3 is detected by the sensor 6, and gives an alarm out of a vehicle upon detecting that the fuel quantity in the tank 2 is substantially in a fill-up state, based on a fuel quantity detection signal of the fuel sensor 7.
