PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus capable of performing bubble washing longer when bathing a bather sitting in a wheelchair. SOLUTION: This bathing apparatus 1 allowing the bather M sitting in the wheelchair 2 to have a bath as sitting in the wheelchair 2 is provided with a water level detecting means 81 detecting the water level inside a bathtub 3. When a discharge means 7 discharges the hot water in the bathtub 3, the water level detecting means 81 detects the water level inside the bathtub 3 and, when the water level inside the bathtub 3 becomes the level W2 corresponding to the bubble generating part of a bubble washing means 8, the bubble washing means 8 is made to stop.
