The invention relates to substituted sulfonyl pyrrolidines and to their physiologically acceptable salts. The invention also relates to the compounds of formula (I), wherein the substituents are defined as indicated, and to the physiologically acceptable salts thereof. The inventive compounds are e.g. suitable as drugs for increasing HDL.
