<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase security of a password for canceling forgery preventive processing. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus reads a document and inhibits outputting using an output control means, if prescribed image data are detected as being contained in read image data. Current information at the time of inhibiting outputting by using the output control means is acquired and based on the current information, a password is generated. Image data at the time of inhibiting outputting using the output control means are transmitted to a manager; and if an output permission of the manager is obtained, an output permission image in which the password generated by a password generating means is embedded recognizably for user, is generated and outputted by an output means. The output permission image outputted by the output means is read by a reading means, the embedded password data are extracted by an extraction means; and if a password extracted by the extraction means is decided as matching the password generated by the password generating means, the output inhibition is canceled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
