<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling recessed type apparatus and a ceiling recessed type luminaire capable of widening the degree of freedom of the plate thickness of a ceiling wall for good installation and improving versatility. <P>SOLUTION: In plate springs 6 and 6, when a twisted part 63 is formed in a first curve part 6A of the plate spring 6, one side part 64 of plate faces 6A1 and 6B1 in the first curve part 6A and a second curve part 6B is protruded to the outside beyond the other side part 65, and consequently, one side part 64 of the plate faces 6A1 and 6B1 is brought into contact with the circumferential edge 72 of a recessed hole 71. In this way, a contact interval between one side part 64 and the recessed hole 71 is reduced in comparison with a plate spring having no twist part, and a comparatively high frictional force is generated.
