<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cysteine protease-inhibiting protein expressed in Behcet's disease, etc., belonging to a cysteine protease-inhibiting protein from characteristics of reverse zymography and being usable for screening an excellent anti-Behcet's disease agent, etc., and it's DNA. <P>SOLUTION: A polypeptide specific to Behcet's disease is detected by using reverse zymography.
