<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service according to the connection mode of wireless terminal to a network by reducing the labor of automatic setting by a manager for a service to be provided for each wireless terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A network system is provided which includes an enterprise-mode authentication server 14 on a host network 1, a wireless access point (AP) 10 on a wired local network 2, and wireless terminals 101-103 on a wireless local network 3. The wireless AP 10 obtains a result of user authentication, performed by the authentication server 14 by monitoring an authentication sequence between the authentication server 14 and a wireless terminal, that is performing association in a wireless section and obtains information, indicating the relation between a MAC address and an IP address with respect to the wireless terminal by monitoring an ARP table.
