<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording paper for pigmented ink which has high print density and is free from print irregularities when image data are printed in the pigmented ink. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording paper 4 comprises a support, an ink acceptance layer formed on the support and a glossy layer formed on the ink acceptance layer. In addition, the paper 4 has not less than 90% ultrasonic transmission intensity after the lapse of 0.5 s of the soaking of the paper 4 in water 3, and not less than 60% ultrasonic transmission intensity after the lapse of 1 s of the soaking of the paper 4 in the water 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
