PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus which dispenses with the designation of a search area to each facility genre, when searching destination candidates from among a plurality of facility genres. SOLUTION: A plurality of the facility genres are set in the order of paths (step S1). The searched area is set (step S2). When s=1, a plurality of the facilities located within the searched area are extracted from the facilities, corresponding to the facility genre set in order of the first path as the first destination candidates (step S4). A plurality of the facilities, located within a predetermined distance range from the first destination candidate, are extracted from the facilities corresponding to the facility genre set, in the order of the second path as the second destination candidates (step S9).
