摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of solving defects such as generation of soot dust and a problem related to air entrainment from a furnace by use of a minimized device and further reducing consumption of water by adjusting a combustion process so that perfectly sintered main ash having necessary properties can be obtained without using downstream fusion or a glassifying unit. SOLUTION: A combustion control system is operated so that combustion residues are preliminarily sintered and/or fused in the incineration bed of a main incineration zone to main ash, and residues not fused or sintered are pushed out at the end of the combustion process, and then returned again to the combustion process. Wet incineration residues which come out of a wet slag remover are firstly divided into two fractions by means of a mechanical separating process, after which a main fraction substantially composed of rough fractions and oversize fractions is washed with water taken from the wet slag remover to separate off fine pieces adhered to the combustion residues.
