PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device of which the charging of a spacer is suppressed, withstand voltage characteristics can be improved, and atmospheric pressure resistance strength is improved. SOLUTION: Between a first substrate 10 in which a fluorescent screen 16 is formed and a second substrate in which a plurality of electron emitting sources 18 are installed, a plurality of spacers 30 supporting atmospheric pressure loads to act on these substrates are installed.
