PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a sort of device which controls congestion distance or parallax without delay with comparatively short operation time even if system composition is made by a normal personal computer. SOLUTION: The device is comprised of a look direction detecting means which detects look directions of an observer monitoring a picture shown on a picture display device, a direction angles deciding means which calculates angle directions relating to the look directions based on the detecting output of the look direction detecting means, an object deciding means which decides an object lying on each linear line along direction angles calculated by the direction angles deciding means, and depth distance deciding means which decides a depth distance of the object decided by the object deciding means.
