PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite sash casing body having reduced cost while securing connecting strength between a rail and a stile. SOLUTION: The casing body comprises upper and lower rails 50 and right and left stiles 60 combined together into a rectangular shape in such a manner that the end faces of the rails 50 abut on the side faces of the stiles 60, the rails 50 and the stiles 60 consisting of metal casings 51, 63 on the outdoor side and resin casings 52, 64 covering the indoor side exposed faces of the metal casings. The metal stile 63 has a rail holding portion 63b on the inner peripheral face for storing the end of the metal rail 51 to be fixed thereto, and the resin stile 64 has a cutout abutting portion 64a on the inner periphery side of the rail holding portion 63b. The end of the metal rail 51 is stored and fixed into the rail holding portion 63a of the metal stile 63, and the end of the resin rail 52 abuts on the abutting portion 64a of the resin stile 64.
