PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray-curing type water-based resin composition having little environmental pollution, excellent in preservation stability, highly sensitive to energy rays and giving practical coating film strength in a short time. SOLUTION: The active energy ray-curing type water-based resin composition contains the water-dispersive polyurethane prepared by dispersing, in water, a reaction product obtained by reacting (a) a polyhydroxy compound having at least one aryl diazosulfonic acid salt and≥2 hydroxy groups with (b) a polyisocyanate compound having≥2 isocyanate groups in one molecule as essential ingredients. The active energy ray-curing type water-based resin composition also contains a water-dispersive polyurethane prepared by dispersing, in water, a reaction product obtained by reacting the compound (a), the compound (b) and a compound (c) having at least one unsaturated double bond and at least one hydroxy group as essential ingredients. In addition, the active energy ray-curing type water-based resin composition further contains a compound having≥2 unsaturated double bonds in the molecule and a photoinitiator.
