PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesia cement composition from which a magnesia cement hardened material small in the fluctuation of strength is produced while preventing ununiformity of the composition during hardening step. SOLUTION: The magnesia cement composition is prepared by blending magnesium chloride (MgCl<SB>2</SB>), magnesium oxide (MgO) and water (H<SB>2</SB>O) in the weight ratio of 1:(2.0-2.2):(2.0-2.5). There is no trouble if only the composition ratio is finally in the range and therefore, the raw materials are not particularly limited. That is, as magnesium chloride, any of anhydride and 6-hydrate can be used and magnesium hydroxide can be used in place of magnesium oxide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
