PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of a folding container by facilitating molding and production of plastic by an injection molding die and by assembling the container so that the inside face is comparatively flat. SOLUTION: The structure connects the upper and lower plates of the folding plastic container such that the plates can be rotated approximately 180°relative to each other. In the structure, a cantilever support shaft 331 is formed so as to be integrated with each shaft support 330 projecting slightly inward from the edge of the connected area of the external face of the one plate 300a. The part of the other plate 300b which is in the vicinity of the edge of the connected area is bent outward with a fixed width in the form of a step covering at least the thickness of the opposite plate. Each pair of outward bulges 333 and 334 are formed on the edge of the connected area of the plate 300b so as to have an interval 329 in which the shaft support is allowed to be disposed. A notched cylindrical bearing 335 is formed in one of the outward bulges such that the cantilever support shaft is loosely fitted in the bearing 335. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
