The invention relates to a windshield wiper device with fastening points (16), by means of which the windshield wiper device is fastened to a body (14) of a motor vehicle. Up to now, windshield wiper systems have been screwed or riveted to the body whereby requiring special tools and a relatively long period of time. The aim of the invention is to improve the windshield wiper device whereby enabling it to be mounted on the body faster and thus in a more economical manner. To this end, at least one of the fastening points (16) for mounting the windshield wiper device can move towards the vehicle body (14).
