PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accident/trouble in management of a material such as medicine and cope with recording and reporting of storage management in the material such as medicine simply and accurately. SOLUTION: This material management system has a function for certifying a person himself/herself, a function for recognizing taking-out or return of the material when confirming the person himself/herself as a result of certification of the person himself/herself, a function for recognizing the taken-out material when the material is taken out and recording the taken-out material, the person who takes out the material by recognizing the person confirmed as the person himself/herself as the person who takes out the material, and date of taking-out, and a function for recognizing the returned material when the material is returned and recording the taken-out material, the person who returns the material by recognizing the person confirmed as the person himself/herself as the person who returns the material, and date of return.
