PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein there in no tool which shows clearly that how much amount of water is sucked up by the sucking-up function by capillary of a watering strip or the like, although many tools for watering plants from bottoms, having structures for sucking up the water are shown in past literature for watering from the bottom. SOLUTION: The tool for watering the plant from the bottom has a watering body A constituted of a sucking-up lower part obtained by covering a flexible core part comprising a bundled mop-shaped cotton or micro-cloth composed of ultrafine fiber formed into a rope shape having 1-3 cm diameter with a core cover for preventing the evaporation of the sucked water, and a bound upper part comprising a cotton exhibiting about 50% liquid phase, present at the upper end of the core part, and bound into a column shape having 3-5 cm diameter and 2-3 cm height. The tool carries out the watering from the bottom by the capillary phenomenon from a lower tank, and the stable sucking-up height is regulated so as to be 13-16 cm length obtained by examining the capillary sucking up performance by a test. As a result, the tool can be arranged with a flowerpot B, a stand C and a receiving saucer part wherein a water-receiving saucer D is used simultaneously as a flower bowl for cultivating a water plant.
