PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control type circuit breaker enabling easy wiring operation. SOLUTION: This remote control type circuit breaker comprises two main cable ways La and Lb in which main contact devices 13a and 13b are inserted. The main contact devices 13a and 13b are forcibly opened when a contact opening/closing device 14 detects the passing of an abnormal current. An auxiliary contact device 15a is inserted into a clearance between the main contact device 13a and a load side terminal 12a, and the auxiliary contact device 15a is opened and closed by an electromagnet device installed in a remote opening/closing device 16. The coil 16x of the electromagnet device is inserted into a route branched between a power supply side terminal 11b and the main contact device 13b in the main cable way Lb and led to a remote control terminal 18. As a result, when a power supply is connected between the remote control terminal 18 and the power supply side terminal 11b, the coil 16x is energized to open and close the auxiliary contact device 15a.
