PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a divided connector capable of surely carrying out the incomplete insertion detection and the double locking of a sub-housing using a cover. SOLUTION: A cover 70 of the divided connector is locked at a regular mounting position by setting a lock arm 72 protrusively formed at its front edge at an evacuation position along the insertion direction of the sub-housing 40 from the rear position of a frame 10, thereafter sliding it in a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction of the sub-housing 40, and thereby locking it to a lock reception part 18 formed on the frame 10 side. Then, a lock part 71 formed on the inside surface of the cover 70 contacts the guide surface 42B of the sub-housing 40 even if the sub-housing 40 is in an incomplete insertion state in the process of sliding, can be pressed in up to a regular position and can be doubly locked.
