PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melamine phenol resin molding material capable of obtaining a molded article excellent in thermal discoloration resistance without damaging excellent mechanical characteristics and electric characteristics held by the melamine phenol resin molding material. SOLUTION: This melamine phenol resin molding material is provided by containing (a) a melamine resin, (b) a phenol resin and (c) an antioxidant as essential components, and preferably by 40-50 wt.% melamine resin (a), 5-15 wt.% phenol resin (b) and 0.5-5 wt.% antioxidant (c) based on the whole molding material.
