INTERIOR TRIM MEMBER FOR AUTOMOBILE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior trim member for an automobile having light weight and sufficient strength and to provide a manufacturing method for the interior trim member. SOLUTION: This interior trim member for the automobile composed of a molded body containing a resin foaming body in which a plurality of foaming resin particles come into contact mutually and exist uniformly is provided, and the resin foaming body has density of 0.09g/cm3to 0.25g/cm3. This interior trim member is manufactured by a simple method by use of foaming resin beads. The resin foaming body is constituted by resin such as polystyrene and acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer, and its magnification ratio of foaming is preferably 4 to 12 times. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
