Several meat and vegetable specialties from the Mediterranean region are fried while attached to a spit and served together with the spit for being removed by the guest. The new design of a serving arrangement comprises two metal bars (8) crossed at their upper ends and provided with rectangular bases (4) at their lower ends to be positioned on top of the rim of a plate. A second flat element (1) is positioned underneath the rim and joined to the first (4) with a bolt (2) and a wing nut (7). The spit can be hung to a hook (9) at the top of the construction.
