The vibration damper (10) is for attaching to the seat of a motor vehicle and has a C-shaped support frame (12) and an oscillating weight (26) interconnected by a spring arrangement. The support frame is constructed in one piece for attaching to the seat of the vehicle. The spring arrangement has at least two elastic connecting elements (18,20) which are formed integrally on the support frame and the oscillating weight. The elastic connecting elements comprise a circular cylindrical bracing component.
