<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system allowing proper changeover of USB host appliances 20, 30 performing USB type communication with a USB peripheral appliance 10. <P>SOLUTION: In this USB appliance system, the USB peripheral appliance 10 performs the USB type communication with the USB host appliance 20, or the USB peripheral appliance 10 performs the USB type communication with the USB host appliance 30 through the USB host appliance 20. The USB host appliance 20 receives a changeover requirement signal to a host mode from an HUB mode, transmits a changeover permission requirement signal to the USB peripheral appliance 10 through a serial interface circuit 13 according to the changeover requirement signal, receives a changeover permission signal outputted from the USB peripheral appliance 10 through the serial interface circuit 13 according to the changeover permission requirement signal, and transmits a changeover control signal to the host mode from the HUB mode, to a changeover circuit 24 after the reception of the changeover permission signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
