<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atomizing toy capable of effectively generating and jetting atomized particles, and a mist generation unit. <P>SOLUTION: The atomizing toy comprises: a liquid holding material fixed to a toy main body 2; an ultrasonic wave generating element constituted by fixing a diaphragm to a piezoelectric vibrator; and a controller for controlling the drive of the ultrasonic wave generating element.
