<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup enabling stable recording and reproducing operation by correcting aberration caused by the environment change of optical components. <P>SOLUTION: The pickup is provided with: a light source 31 emitting a light beam of a prescribed wavelength; an objective lens 32 converging the light beam emitted from the light source 31 on the signal recording surface of an optical disk; a coupling lens 33 provided between the light source 31 and the objective lens 32 and converting a divergence angle of the light beam; a photodetector means 34 detecting return light reflected by the optical disk; an aberration correcting means 35 provided between the light source 31 and the objective lens 32 and correcting aberration based on a signal detected by the photodetector means 34; an environment change detecting means 36 detecting the environment change of optical components other than the aberration correcting means; and a control unit 27 controlling the aberration correcting means 35 based on a signal of the environment change detecting means 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
