<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate assembly in which the number of development steps such as EMI evaluation can be reduced inexpensively while satisfying a predetermined function, and to provide an image forming apparatus comprising it. <P>SOLUTION: A section 10 for controlling each functional section of an image forming apparatus comprises a control substrate 11 and an image forming substrate 12 wherein the control substrate 11 and the image forming substrate 12 are connected through connectors 21 and 22 as a planar substrate. A mother board 13 connects a connector 24 with the connector 21 and connect it physically and electrically with the control substrate 11, a fax substrate 14 connects the connector 27 of the fax substrate 14 with a connector 26, and a network substrate 15 connects a connector 28 with a connector 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
