<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-accurate speed sensor having a reduced detection error. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave is generated by a sensor circuit part 3 and radiated from a transmitting antenna. A reflected wave from the ground is received by a receiving antenna, and mixed with a local signal by a mixer, to thereby generate a low frequency signal. The electromagnetic wave radiated from the sensor circuit part 3 forms a beam by a dielectric lens 2, and then irradiated to the ground.
