PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontally roofing cladding material which can quickly and inexpensively finish a cladding structure having a flat connection portion in a longitudinal direction, and to provide a connection structure of the horizontally roofing cladding materials. SOLUTION: The horizontally roofing cladding material 1 has molded portions 13, 12 engageable with a counterpart on an upstream side and a downstream side. The horizontally roofing cladding material 1 has the connection portions 14, 15 formed at both longitudinal edges thereof by blanking, so as to exhibit an indented shape as viewed in a plan. The connection portion 14 has at least one or more projected portion 14A and one or more recessed portion 14B while the connection portion 15 has at least one or more projected portion 15A and one or more recessed portion 15B. Then one of the recessed portions 14B, 15B is formed so as to have the same level in a lateral direction as that of the other one of the projected portions 15A, 14A, and the tip of each of the projected portions 14A, 15A is located upper than a plate portion 11 of the cladding material.
